How can I help?

About Me
I’m passionate about helping people make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives. My training began with a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and I’ve since gone on to achieve accreditation with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I’m also trained in EMDR therapy, a specialist treatment for trauma and PTSD.

What drives me most is seeing people move from a place of feeling stuck or overwhelmed to a place of strength and possibility. My work is always person-centred, meaning I listen first, adapt to your needs, and ensure that every step of therapy feels safe and supportive.

With experience in both counselling and the dental field, I also bring a unique perspective to supporting people with dental phobias and providing wellbeing workshops for dental teams.
It’s possible to find clarity, confidence, and calm again.
Therapy can help you reconnect with the person you want to be, or the person you once were.

EMDR Therapy
Processing trauma safely and effectively
Trauma can leave a lasting imprint on the mind and body. Even long after a distressing event has passed, you may find that certain memories, sensations, or emotions still feel raw — as though they’re happening in the present moment. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) therapy helps your brain reprocess those memories, allowing you to move forward without being held back by the past.

EMDR is a highly effective, evidence-based therapy recommended by NICE for the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). It can also be used to help with other difficulties such as anxiety, phobias, grief, and low self-esteem — particularly when these are linked to past experiences.

During EMDR, you’ll be guided through a structured process that helps your brain naturally reprocess difficult memories, using techniques such as eye movements or gentle bilateral stimulation.
Unlike traditional talking therapy, EMDR does not require you to describe traumatic events in detail. Instead, it focuses on helping your brain to safely integrate those experiences so that they no longer trigger the same level of emotional distress.
As the treatment progresses, many people notice that painful memories start to feel more distant, less vivid, and no longer carry the same emotional charge. You may also find that your body feels calmer, your thoughts clearer, and your sense of self more stable and confident.

My role throughout the process is to ensure you feel safe, supported, and in control at every step. EMDR can be a deeply empowering experience — one that enables you to heal, regain balance, and rediscover your strength and resilience.

Therapy tailored to your needs.
1-to-1 Counselling & Psychotherapy
Life can feel overwhelming at times — whether because of stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, past trauma, or simply the pressures of daily life. Counselling and psychotherapy offer you a safe, confidential space to pause, reflect, and understand what’s really going on beneath the surface.

Our work together is a partnership. My approach is person-centred, which means your needs, goals, and experiences are always at the heart of each session. I listen without judgement, and together we explore what’s been holding you back, what’s causing distress, and how you can begin to move towards the change you want.

Therapy can help you make sense of your emotions, improve your relationships, and develop new ways of coping. It can also help you reconnect with your sense of self — the part of you that feels grounded, capable, and hopeful again.
